Potuguese - but I learned ‘by ear’. (spent some time in Treceda for the bull runs). Took me a bit to figure that the currency (escuda) was what folks meant when they said ‘scooch’.

Absolutely. In the mid 60s, some kid went to close to a nesting swan in the Boston Gardens. Swan attacked him - broke his leg. Pretty sure it was the femur.

Perfect example of the current Republican playbook: Charge the Dems with doing things that you have been doing youself.

I bought a Wali dual-arm mount ($50 at amazon) and it’s surprisingly good.

In Portuguese, it’s scuza (pardon me, as in do you mind if I cut through here) and sculpa (pardon me, as in sorry I stepped on your foot while I was cutting through).

I worked in a motorcycle shop ages ago. We used a standard kitchen oven to bake powdercoat onto small parts. Food never went into that oven, though...

BTW, if you at all care about this situation, check out ANERA. It’s a charity formed for helping Palestinian refugees. They’re legit. Check your charity navigator, or whatever you use to figure that out. I’ve been donating since the late 70s.

It’s what I do when I’m traveling with my wife (carry-on is pretty much all camera gear, plus a minimal amount of clothing in case that checked bag gets lost -  so bringing

Next up: anti-vaxxers exposing their kids to smallpox - so they won’t get it later. Ditto polio.

In my MR2 (MKII) there was a fore-aft adjustment on the headrests. On my wife’s previous Prius, I flipped the headrests front-to-back. Her current Fiat is pretty hopeless this way (I just can’t sit comfprtably in that thing).
