The usual suspects have screamed bloody “YOU’RE KILLING JOBS” murder about this, BTW, but shipping rates are so low that it will have little to no impact on economic activity worldwide. If anything it’ll encourage more manufacturing work to return to North America, assuming that 45 doesn’t blow up NAFTA in the next

That’s current practice due to agreements with regulators in California, a few other US states, and a smattering of countries worldwide. The big International Maritime Organization low-sulfur fuel rule discussed above comes into force worldwide next year; it will eliminate the burning of bunker fuel, which is

How dare you make me hope.

The EPA estimates prior to the Obama rule were that about 2% of new truck sales are gliders, but those 2% of trucks pollute as much in a year as the remaining 98% of trucks sold with modern emission equipment. I think that it’s worthwhile to keep those 2700 trucks off the road since theyre emitting as much pollution a

Heavy equipment and transport trucks should have a MORE strict testing procedure. They operate for much more time and mileage than passenger vehicles and they are under load constantly to keep the weight moving forward. The engines themselves need to create more power (read more pollutants) just to keep the rig at a

PREACH!  Vote every single boomer out at ever single opportunity.

And I knew I would get at least one response from a brainwashed trump supporter. You guys are smoking crack. So you seriously praise a man who on one hand scolds our closest and most important allies and yet bends over backwards to praise the likes of Putin and Kim? You think its great that his agenda is rife with

“MAKING BUELLS WOULD HAVE SAVED HARLEY AND THE ENTIRE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY! EVERYONE WOULD RIDE A BUELL AND THERE WOULD BE NO CARS!” - all fifteen people who bought a buell, every single time anyone writes the name Harley on the internet.

Every Buell owner I ever met didn’t buy their Buell because it was the best, fastest, or most exclusive bike. They generally did it because what Buell offered was different. A few of them bought it because it was American...

Based on his Trump-esque capitalization choices you KNOW he has poor reading comprehension. SAD!

There’s a weird bit of Schadenfreude going on here...watching Harley flounder around when you know damn well it was their buying demographic that voted for this economic A-bomb of a president.

I don’t think Buell was the key. While I think Buell’s were cool as hell, the majority of motorcycle buyers didn’t think they were cool enough to buy one. Turning Buell into something that would have sold in higher volumes would have meant turning it into something that wasn’t a “Buell”.

Mnuchin should go back to Hollywood, where financing fictional tales for the masses was his specialty.

The yellow reminded me of this:

I’m going to be in a minority of one on this, but that interior is a gaudy mess.

My defenses are ready

This is bullshit.

Agreed, it’s getting so old and boring. We get it – you have EVEN MORE horsepower now. Get back to me when it is smaller, lighter, handles any better, or is any more usable/fun in the real world (while not ending up behind bars).

I guess people assume my dieselgate jokes are a little too obNOxious...

Oddly enough, I drove my very similar Caddy to work this morning. Instead of the 16v I’ve got the 8v GTI drivetrain. This one is my second conversion and I don’t imagine I’ll ever sell it. 4.5 large is about market for one like this.
