I’ve got a ‘77 airhead that was my DD for a while... Bulletproof bike.. and with the shaft drive.. very little needed maintenence... Not sure what that dealer was talking about.. he must of not had any airheads on his lot and was trying to steer you to what he did have in stock......

If you’re doing a lot of commuting and really piling on the miles, consider getting something with a shaft-drive... It seems chains/sprockets are half the maintenance of a regular bike...

Sounds a bit boring.... How are they gonna do weapon upgrades? I get you could get a nicer bayonnet after x kills......

As someone once said to me, “not only is simple good, simple is best.” Shame this bike (that apparently packs a lot of epicness in it) couldn’t just pare it down a bit (in weight, power and definitely price) to make it a bit more dirt-worthy.....
