How many blowjobs did Lorenzo give you for all that bullshit you guys pulled last season?

Sweet!

I seem to recall it was put on there as more of a psychological aid for the driver to aid in turning....

“I end up 473 pages in to an ADVRider thread and never figure out what those guys are talking about”

Two things:

Holy shit, I want to go party with those guys!

Nice bike, but egads! There’s no excuse for that exhaust..

Oh, reliability-wise, you’d be surprised... no computers, basic carbs, nothing fancy. And the ducati 900 2-valves are about as tried and true/robust as moto engines come....

“Big numbers”.. so true. I think it’s obvious why adv bikes are popular- it’s a do-everything bike with an emphasis on being able to explore off the beaten track. But the issue everyone seems to have- much like cars/trucks these days-is bloat.

I grew up in rural NC... Zero car culture around there.... I remember when I was 8 or 9, I was at a neighbor’s garage sale- He had a stack of old Car & Driver, and other assorted moto magazines. I’d never heard or seen any of these mags at the time. I bought the stack for a dollar.

Hahaha... crusier bike fail!

How’d it sound??

Haha.. sorry to ruin it

Cast or mag wheels don’t work offroad- there’s no give- so hit a bump, crack your wheel. Wire wheels have some give to soak up sharp hits.

ANY bike, but especially an Adv bike needs a bit more than 2 inches of travel before the back tire hits the muffler....

Speaking as an owner of a Cagiva, don’t you fucking dare!

And that pic kinda tells you all you need to know about ulysses.....

It seems consensus across the globe is in short order these days.. Especially on the internet. It’s nice to see a bunch of people come together in agreement- good job Jalops. My faith in humanity just went up a few clicks.

Yeah— good buddy of mine had an 650L... and great bike and all, but between the thumper motor and the stock suspension, not much fun on the highway.....

Okay... but now, your honda has/had more power and less weight..... Not quite the erroneous numbers I came across, but not toooo far off....
