At any point Gore could of co-opted portions of Nader’s platform to entice me and other voters, but he chose not to- he felt that running as a republican-lite was the better course. It was more about him writing off the greens than the greens writing off the Democratic party.

There’s a lot more to that hillside than just rocks... The scar on that hillside caused by a 5 minute section of a 3-hr race will be an erosion nightmare/eyesore for years.
Looks cool for sure.. and major kudos to the riders, but something about seeing massive destruction of natural habitat/public lands makes me cringe..... Are there no existing trails that are hammer-rific enough?
