To hear her tell it, she only worked on Infinity/End Game for a week. Everything was ADR and one fitting for a green dot suit so they could store her image in the computer. I don’t think she was ever on set.

How about the mic drop of the main cast waltzing to the show’s theme song?!

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if HBO execs don't watch their own shows. Or if they do, it's grudgingly.

Loved the show. But ... (spoiler, I guess) ... Jonathan Major’s character seems pretty much written off the show (putting it mildly) and then he bailed on WB for D+. He was the main character. Bringing him back would have been a huge bend-over for HBO and an equal pretzel for the showrunners & writing staff. I mean,

Mace Windu episode One:

Have they done a reunion/table read at some point? If they haven’t, they should. It would kill.

All the Rosie Perez stuff was clearly a set up for season two. Original author involvement? Despite Big Little Lies S2, HBO has done okay with author involved sequels. The Leftovers pops to mind.

The new show could go into this. I’d assume, the Endgame Thanos Battle was hashed over and rehashed over by every type of media everywhere - down to its granular detail. Like books written & documentaries made ala the American Civil War and the Kennedy Assassination - only combined and times ten. Arguably Captain

Can’t really argue. After the scene was over, I was like... “well, she got halfway there.” Whether her apology was half-full or half-empty depends on how you feel about Midge. The show is really riding the line. Think pieces abound. I’ll watch to the end, but if Maisel goes out without having Midge find some

Moishe has come around to be a really great guy. The obit scene tied up that side of the story so well.

A good, quick explanation would be that either directing Sith lightning or  getting hit by Sith lightning, ages a person - like boom, two years gone. Multiple hits: there goes a decade.

Lord bless David Krumholtz.

Jesus people, cut the new reviewer some slack. The movie looks delightful, the previews are giving away enough that we don't need anymore spoilers here, and I'm happy to read a review that comes in from an authenticity-angle rather than a plot regurgitation.

Yeah, that info dropped the day after I posted this. So, 5 it is. That's fine I guess. This week's two episodes were pretty good and seem to be running through plot at a faster clip... Susie's got three clients and a secretary! And that view!

6 & 7 almost should count as one giant season.

I think the show gets a season 8. They haven’t announced bc they’re still hammering shit out - and it is, too be fair, complicated shit.

Yes. For a hot minute there I was willing to watch an entire show built around just Peggy Scott and her journalism. Imagine her narrating! Anyway - “an embarrassment of riches, this show” yada yada. Glad the English v American butlering styles came back around to become plot-relevant.

So, I watched eps 3 & 4. ... #3 has a standout speech for Suzi that will get Alex B another Emmy nomination. I’m not saying that cynically, it’s good-to-great and she knocks it into the stands.

You want sanctions that really sting, kick the Russians off Pornhub.

IM3 might sneak into regular B territory if you include the One Shot with Kingsley, Scoot McNairy, and Sam Rockwell’s intimation of a casual prison-sex lifestyle for Justin Hammer. It ties the Iron Man Trilogy together!
