It took me 20 minutes or so after the scene to realize, but the poignancy of Sara & Ava’s daughter living large at a  summer camp was well appreciated.

She was a citizen of Hell, so of course she qualifies for American political service.

I held off making comparisons between AoS' Shrike and the Butterflies here... but the horror aspect is similar.

He has an eagle that loves him, that's his superpower.

I wonder sometimes if Gen X and X-plus generation writers and TV showrunners haven’t so internalized the story arc of a 26 episode season, that once they start sketching out a season, they go down all these roads and relationships that would work in a 20 to 26 ep season, but hit a wall in an 8 to 10 episode season. If

I really enjoyed the staging and direction this episode, starting with the coffin coming right out of the opening titles and ending with Marion's head floating away off screen as she watched the symphony from her box.

I think the Titans showrunners were shocked at how lucky they were to land Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly - and subsequently kept feeding them more and more material. The Hawk and Dove focus-episodes are arguably the best of the series. Plus he had to play Hawk from college senior to 30ish dude in rehab. Range. The

The signature shot of MK jumping across the street - and subsequently turning into the D+ logo is cheeseball. In the main clip, the physics seem off and he looks like a wee elf hopping from rooftop to rooftop. He’s cute. He’s a scamp, this Moon Knight. Plus, it looks like this 3 second shot was solely created to morph

Booth and Bones were pretty good there for awhile. The first five seasons or so of the show were pretty good - then it fizzled. But they had good chemistry. The show cheated the hook-up too; having it happen between seasons and then waiting a half-a-season to reveal it already happened. By the time the audience

Patsy had sex with Eddy’s flip-phone, which should count as an “almost.”

Batman and Catwoman on Batman ‘66. Though I guess this gets hurt by recasting the character. But still, he could have hooked up with any or all of them!

Now on deck: Chekhov’s Giant Teleporter!!

Now playing

I always try and post a link to this one in any John Williams discussion:

Try to catch Empire Strikes Back with a live orchestra - when the tour gets going again. I saw the Milwaukee Symphony do it and it was fantastic. I think Lucasfilm (and maybe CineConcerts) provide all the material for your average medium/big city orchestra to perform the soundtracks like a year in advance - when the

- Knowing what this show is, now that its done, I’m not too upset. I’d have given the finale a solid B. I think the showrunners were thinking, take what screentime Fennic and Boba had in Mandalorian S2 and flip it. Did it work? Eh? These things tend to gain cult followings.

Maybe Bill Hader, it helps he’s employed by HBO too.

Hopefully, possibly folded in half.

Bounties get tied up under the wing now I guess.

Stranger Things s3 actually did this really well. PG-13 (or MA-14?) too!

That would be perfect.
