After opening by showing the Cylons launching their attack on humanity, Battlestar Galactica’s second ever scene is this marvel that introduces a ton of the major characters without ever feeling awkward in the cramped hallway sets.

I liked Iron Fist actually. A lot of people weren’t looking for a story about a kid with horrible PTSD returning from years of being tortured in captivity only to find out that the one person he thought he could trust was the person who betrayed him, but I found it to be an interesting take.

“Tonight is What it Means to be Young” may be Steinman repeating himself a little- you can hear a LOT of “Total Eclipse of the Heart” in it- but honestly I think it’s a better song.

The studio execs were very underwhelmed with the footage they were seeing and were on the verge of scrapping the whole thing, but then Steinman delivered that song and they loved it so much that they let the movie be

East Coast Klan guys keep that part of themselves very hidden, the rest of their public personas follow suit by din of internal association, if you catch my meaning. I can appreciate fans wanting more Stringer Bell in season two and less Union Guys. I think I was probably in the same boat for the first four episodes, until I realized... oh This IS the main plot... By the time Frank Sobotka was grabbing and kicking the chain link fence I was totally hooked on his story.
