The subject of elementary school lunch convos: Who was cuter - Joyce DeWitt or Suzanne Sommers? Who is your favorite of the Dukes of Hazzard? And who’s funnier: Kip or Henry. I remember voting for Scolari as favorite. But, to be fair, before Splash opened everyone was like “Mermaid! Daryl Hannah!” but then even in the

Can we actually give Cindy the Shiv a do-over, though? Has she killed anyone in her teenage years? I feel like she might have. She definitely deserves a do-over for her real mom. Fake Mom ... eh. You can blame that on Calypso. Her Dad's cave dwelling automatons don't count. Idk, maybe she can skate.

I want Nicole Maines to Pretty Please post the outtakes of her saying “I hate the space/time continuum.” How does one dramatically deliver such a nutty line?

Very much enjoyed this season. Would like a scene of Cort & friends visiting the now deranged art-teacher in Blue Valley’s version of Arkham. Bring him a plate of cookies, maybe.

I would have led with the Stargirl season finale. I'm not currently watching American Crime Story however.

Book of Boba Fett? So he’s a bookie? Getdafukouttahe’

Now playing

My vote is for Goblet of Fire as the best (or at least #2 as nothing beats the 4 sequence payoff of DH2: Snape Flashback - Harry using the death stone - Harry & Dumbledore in the train station - final battle).

Did DV use a mix of film and hi-def digital? It seemed like it. Not ineffective though, it felt like he was on to something: a mix of the different film "stocks" if you will - used at different points in the reality of the characters. Or maybe I was just tripping.

I thought the same thing with the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but Harry Potter is a funnier gag.

Instead of just Ad Astra think The Right Stuff, Outland, even a tad Ridley Scott. I think they ven-diagramed all the Sci-Fi and stuck their peg here.

Is it on Disney XD or something? They need content on those other channels to keep them afloat (in their estimation, I’m sure). Though I assume at some point they’ll cull their “classic” cable channels down to two... then one maybe at some point. Or give them over to ABC, ESPN or something - they're cable real estate

Cosmo: “Weep-woo weep-woo!”

Everyone has their pet Marvel contrarian hot takes, I guess mine is: I really loved Captain Marvel. I think it improves upon repeat viewings. The only thing I don’t like is the Gwen Stephani needle drop late in the picture - but that’s it. I enjoy that Larson underplays the role. I didn’t expect how she got her powers

After watching these promo videos, I believe ABBA is preparing to upload their souls into the Tron Matrix Skynet. They’ll do this one massive pay-per-view and in the finale, their bodies will wither into electrified flesh sheets and they will be AI forevermore.

Zathura is great. It got John Favreau his Iron Man gig.

Yeah, with the caveat that they claim that once in a while they need to shoot live rounds to “knock the kinks out of it.” Which, idk, sounds kinda like taking your car out on the interstate to drive-really-fast in order to burn the junk out of your carburetor. It makes sense in a total self serving win-win type of

I remember near the end, neither character had to be in drag very much. Every other episode had a reveal where someone would discover their secret until they ran out of cast members who didn’t know. Then I think the show was trying to pivot to just being about two guys trying to make it as actors - and then whomp!

I could see a pitch where they tried to sell it as “Three’s Company only its TWO guys ... and a whole mess of women!”

It makes me wonder if firearms get “borrowed,” used at a local firing range (or somewhere) for kicks, and then returned to set. I can't see how else a live round would get in there.

When cast members move into directing positions, that would seem to indicate a positive working environment.
