Is there some background try for this show to keep going without Kara. Rename it "Superfriends" or something?

Helicopter parents.
I got a laugh out of that. No “Hey There!” or “From Kaznia with Love” painted on the sides either. ‘shame.
If Lex is the secret admirer, he might snark about it next week.
Maybe it’s a thin slice of the pie all things considered, but football (NFL, College, and heck Soccer too) plus Baseball Post Season have been on an up-ramp ... even more-so than last week. Recalculate the take after Tuesday’s discount day - I bet by Wednesday Bond pulls even with Venom.
Time to pull a Don Cheadle.
Linklater was very good in FX’s Legion.
I understand that. The opening establishing shot, with the forest, for miles in every direction... I agree it's suspension of disbelief, but whoa. National News should be freaking out about this in the show. Look, the story is strong enough that I got over it around the time Rick and Grundy were eating apples.
I really like this show & the review helped keep my head on straight, but a couple of nit-picks I have:
The younger version of me inside my head that loved Big Trouble in Little China 36 years ago, thought Shang-Chi was fucking great.
I got Dick Tracy vibes. That's the black silhouette/primary color background thing. I bet they upgrade the opening every season, if not every few episodes. The ship cgi is still being worked on I'd wager.
Ed's the Ace up their sleeve. She's the hook that gets the show renewed for a season 2.
I read that quote hearing Micky Mouse's voice.
Titans finally checks in on all the characters NOT living in Wayne Manor!! Including Wayne. And including characters NOT living.
MacFarlane’s character plus Grimes sorta keep the show upbeat - happy-go-lucky almost. The rest of the cast has more of a TNG feel with both light and dark aspects to their characters. Bortus and his husband run the gamut of extremely weird/funny/deadpan to dark/serious. I think if Seth for some reason had got the…
... thus, the “eat your vegetables” callback.
Dig's whole deal might still culminate in The Flash's big crossover event. Maybe? Seems like the place for it, anyway.
Magic mail. A Hogwarts Owl rushed the book over.
I think Brainwave and Icicle will both be back. They were too good in season 1. Ice just needs to reconstitute his blown-apart melted shards - easy, right? - (seriously though, it would be fun if he came back all grotted up with road-salt and sewage). I’m on board with Brainwave pulling a “Spock” and planting himself…
Lennon sang that whole scene on set too, no dubbing (was it one take!?) ... and with a steady-cam guy doing circles around him. That would be a fun “making-of” outtake to see.
