Yeah, the crew is going to need Jade and Thunderbolt to help in a theoretical season-ending big-bad fight. Plus, isn’t JG Flash rumored to make a guest appearance this season? It would be just like him to show up for a cameo and get killed.

Little bit of Sam Raimi in that fight photography. Especially that staff-pov (and Courtney's foot-pov!) shot. How much fun was that?! B.A.
Kartheiser is great!* Too bad he’s getting blowback for being obnoxious on set. He went “method” apparently. From out here in the sticks, it looks like WB encourages bad behavior then mumbles ruefully about getting caught. “Fine! We’ll investigate or something. Mrrp mrr grump (long nasal snort).”
It smacks of Old Money Legacy-Rich beating up on Nu Money Rich-Wannabes. "A failed property-flip ... The Horror!"
They did the (now classic) Blumhouse/James Wan thing in the opening scene - where something is lurking in the bedroom’s big black shadow-blob ... you should be able to see the Something ... if you could ... only just ... squint ... is there a shape there? ...
I’m detecting a tingle of the possibility of Jordan’s resurrection. Is the big giant mural face a big giant foreshadow? Who knows if it’ll play out that way, but it reminds me that last season’s villains were great too. With just a season and a half, this show’s villain-game is so strong.
I think too that Hill and Bill couldn’t shake their type A lawyering inclinations. Her whole career when someone lobbed a bullshit conspiracy or character attack at her, her (and their) go-to strategy was to clam-up and take a dozen secret meetings on the subject. “As my own appointed counsel to myself, I have advised…
HBO should go dark for 24 hours out of respect. This fucking sucks. I hope the dude knows he was loved. Mike, you were loved.
Yeah, I think it was paced appropriately for a one season arc. It landed pretty well all in all.
This.
Got Wicked Witch of the West vibes from Bishop first entering the sky on a black cloud of nastiness, then later “I’m melting!” via Mick & Kayla’s brood.
WB/HBO/DC definitely feels like there are tiers and levels to their characters as though each has their own agent. There can be only one Wonder Woman at a time (per Wonder Woman’s contract). Movies, HBO, and CW can all have their own version of Batman - but at different ages! (per Batman's rep at CAA) ... etc. So you…
The two episodes felt like 4 extra-stuffed mini-episodes: Nick & Morty ... 2 Crows part One/2 Crows part Two ... and Evil Morty. Kind of amazing the whole Citadel sequence was only about 10 minutes.
That absolutely had to have been the planned plot arc. Whoever lodged those initial complaints was not dialed into the full season plan.
They really were just henching as a side gig.
Fingers crossed the production took it seriously too and weren’t like, “Production’s on pause, party on insurance money!!”
Ray fills that position, unofficially of course.
They also teased Enchantress way back when. The show could build a whole other team with Enchantress, Vampire Lawyer, and Kayla.
Hey, Kayla comes to the wedding... nice - Mick’s +1, no doubt.
