Demon Dog jumps across hallway; smacks into the wall = Ghostbusters homage?

At least Kara is still sick of her shit.

Or “I’m going into motherhood and contract re-negotiations at the same time. You know the CW, its sudden-death musical chairs around here.”

After the fourth pep-talk, the pattern revealed itself and it dawned on me, “Oh! So this is ‘The Pep-Talk Episode.’ They’re blowing out all the pep talks for the rest of the season.” Probably/Hopefully. Once I gave in to the Lords of Pep Talk, I didn’t find it as annoying. The episode title should have been “Pep Talk

I remember that! You’re right.

This probably works better in a binge when the in-world time frame is only a couple of weeks. This also felt more like a half of one season with the next half set to premier in September.

I think if Molly hangs with the kitchen staff, she may well know a bit about Santa Muerte.

This was a good follow up to the Rattlestar rewatch. Seriously, the snake-episode is one of the best ever. So, eating your own tail became thematic tonight. Breaking the Fifth Wall could have turned into something. I half expected Rick and Morty to crawl out of a television-The Ring style-and run around Adult Swim in

25 or 40 zombified townsfolk falling over and obediently turning into rat-goo freaked me out pretty good. And The Neverending Story Theme  ... how do you top that?

Or chuck it all into the air and just watch Raiders of the Lost Ark on the CBS Sunday Night Movie. Which to be honest, I’m tempted to do, if only in hopes that they’s begin the night with an 80's throwback voice over: “Tonight on the CBS Sunday Night Movie...” (Truck Chase Theme/Whip Crack/Rolling Boulder Drop/Flying

Like the poor zombie sweatshop in episode one, I could see a call-back joke with Bloody Mary at an actual desk somewhere—bloody... with a Mountain Dew Code Red and a stress ball.

I like how Matt Ryan has allowed (or has been allowed) to include some bits of physical comedy into his character. Maybe it’s his new lease on life post-smoking. Doing the Scooby Doo peak-around-the-corner, rolling his eyes, last week’s crawling around on the floor... I’m liking his lighter 10% shift in tone.

Mirror Iris: “Bloodwork, we’re here because we need your Bad Guy CGI to help with our Bad Guy CGI.”

Every episode opener, the announcer sounds like he wants someone to die.

It’s like they’re treasure hunters insofar as a construction company - with a construction company mindset - can be treasure hunters... but then they have uncovered some fascinating structures and remnants of a colonial-era shipping pit-stop. Rather than buried treasure, they’ve found stuff that has most likely fallen

Perhaps after Legends, you might turn it over to The History Channel and catch the late replay of, I believe, the season finale of The Curse of Oak Island. (Pay Cable’s Number One Reality-Based Program!) William Shatner pays a visit to the Oak Island War Room. History Channel is nothing if not a ho for

Exactly. They're established af on YouTube. Why keep them exclusively there? (Unless they get a paycheck from YouTube that outweighs NBC ratings - or cut some side deal - neither seems likely but who knows?)

Yes & in 1931 Peggy Carter would be a kid. If she's in a plot arc (or even a one episode cameo) it suggests the Shield agents will be jumping ahead. It sounds rather like Legends of Tomorrow now come to think of it.

The English speaking thing rated a “huh, weird” from me. Though it didn’t pull me out of the scene - well maybe a teeny bit. My thought about that is: “Showtime Producers ... sheesh ... amirite?”

A couple episodes of Agents of Shield set in the 30's and 40's will hit the spot too, hopefully.
