The "Megro Thing" was happening last season too with Huggable Wayne and also Baby Lily having sort of a Baby Jesus type vibe. At least the show has plowed into the trope rather than pretend otherwise.

The last two, maybe three eps of season 1 kick ass. Episode 9 is a flashback where you see the Departure from the Garvey's perspective.

Wow. And if you count the last two episodes of season one … How many shows can you name that went on an eight episode tear as good as this one? The universe expanded and at the same time got more Durst-y. It'll be interesting if this is a one-off for the Demon Azrael people or the intro to a new group of recurring…
