Coulson: Daisy's infiltrated the Spank Bank. Simmons, bring her up on that display. That's funny. What's she doing.

Oh I'd give this one an A, just cause I'm really happy they finally did some spy stuff! From the deposit box lock buster to the mini drone … Yay.
Then we get the Bobbi/May duo. When they kicked in that double door together … I got chills. I think I spazzed a little.
Two thoughts: I kinda don't like the idea of Bobbi

Lovingly recrafted as a PG-13 comedy.

I'll edit it for spoilers. It took me three days to feel bad about it. AV should do a Spoiler Space for this movie - or note that this article is indeed the spoiler space. It's my fault for posting while drunk and/or baked.

Punched by an Angel

Is it possible that Matt is Lutheran but took a gamble and said he was Episcopalian?

Fair 'nuff.

I had a similar reaction. I absolutely think the movie deserves a second look. But like Pacific Rim the finished product is 5 or 10 degrees off of where you were hoping it would land. Everybody here is holding hands and waiting for Guillermo del Toro to have his E.T. moment: the crossover success moment

I watched it twice in theaters and twice on DVD. The making-of doc helped raise my love of this film. All of what they had to create in a few weeks for the Mayhem Scenes at the end of the film is really impressive. I don't think its fair to dismiss it as a Joss Whedon Fanboy pic. Maybe it's Drew Goddard.

Has she ever hosted SNL? She would probably destroy.

My question is this: was Coraline considered? Would she qualify?

Perhaps if Ghost Harry had done some a cappella Billy Ocean …

I'm okay with a "tease one episode/pay off the next" policy. Ghost Patty was starting to annoy and at least by the end of this ep forward momentum was made. I only half bought the Rick-Rolling. They've teased Virgil's (?) Ability to help clarify things now for 3 episodes. Let's get to him now. … Although next

Just bought this on DVD. 90% of the time I can't stand Patty Lupone but she was surprisingly good in this. The "Feel my scar through my forehead, through my skull, down my spine" speech was great.

I didn't watch Lost and I'm not going to. So I could give a shit about that show. Everybody is Lindelof this and that. And "Here he goes, fucking things up again!". Tom Perrotta wrote the book and created all the characters and he is all in for season two. It's as much his baby as it is Lindelof's. I'm of the

Season 3 - The Leftovers: Downunder

Stephan Sondheim.

The Hollywood Reporter had a good article detailing the penny-pinching m.o. of the old school Marvel business guys camped in NY vs the guys with Marvel & Disney in LA. After their restructuring this summer, Marvel in LA has a freer hand with $ while Marvel NY is still, I believe, in charge of the television unit.

You got me there, 'tis a killer time slot. Still, they gave Treme four seasons.

I don't think HBO has anything else that could go here. As long as The Leftovers continues to have a smaller budget than GoT, Vynal (Vinyl?), Westworld, and True Detective … I think it stays.
