"Dot, fingerprints?"

I saw Everest yesterday. Spoiler Spoiler. Though good, I think the tone (intentionally or not) is different than how they are selling it on TV. I hate to say it but it plays like a certain amount of comeuppance is due these folks. The Brolin and Hawkes characters so badly want to cross this off their bucket-lists

… as all performed by the Golden Girls. Including that classic scene where Rose says: "I just let go in my suit and it's crawling up my legs!"

First read that as The Babadook to appear on Game of Thrones. Which would be… … Which might work. … Maybe with Osha and Rickon.

Loved Deadwood so much that I decided to go all-in on McShane. I bought all 6 seasons of Lovejoy and I gotta tell you. They're a blast. Weird mash up of Antiques Roadshow and Magnum P.I. is the best way I could describe it.

I was just thinking that if you could get the opening guitar riff from Ace of Spades and put it on a loop … And get the vibrator to sound like that … well that would be uh … cool.
Or vascilating perhaps.

Grant, McShane, Von Sydow … They are just faces for the Faceless God.

The Million Dollar Duck! Apple pectin. The gold showed traces of apple pectin.

President Obama with Senor Wences' sidekick Johnny.

I was all gung ho to share this one, but then I rewatched it. Compared to some of the epics above it pales. Plus they have cheat edits twice. But I love this band, it's a (be kind) B+ for effort, and clearly their budget was about $1000.00. Love Me Dead by Ludo:

Tony Shaloub helped Wings quite a bit. Maybe they realized they were basically Taxi in an Airport and needed their own Latka.

Willy Wonka.

Vancouver city coroner and/or Mayor Dominic DaVinci. That guy is a class act.

Please now provide a mini review of the movie with audio commentary: favorite bit - Tony Bennet waking up on the Dick Cavette show.
(If I remembered that right)

Only "jealous" in so far as whether the programming stunt worked or not. I have no clue one way or the other but suspect that it did not actually increase veiwership in Cinemax.

HBO on demand has The Knick for a limited time. I think HBO is jealous they didn't put this on the Flagship network because right now there's nothing on until October. But I pay for HBO, so I watch the hell out of it. On ep 4 of The Knick & very happy to have found this show.

The movie guts it out emotionally. But the problem A was: too much like Superman 1. California drops into the ocean at Luthor's doing … Superman lifts it back into place. Vs Luthor creates a giant Krypto-landmass … Superman lifts it into outer space.

The sun don't rise and set on the corner grocery.

It's more like a nervous tick with me quoting the cereal commercial: "Crispix is Crispy times Two!"

"Yes! We are all individuals!"
