Looks like the US is going to announce a joint deal with the UK and Australia on advanced defense tech sharing:

What happens if you lose them?  Surely there has to be some sort out buyout clause.

Fellow UF grad (C/O 2011) here as well! Parking was atrocious and the UF parking enforcement police were so damn efficient it was scary! Did the same thing you did, bought a scooter (then eventually a R6), makes life 1000 times easier.  Also, GO GATORS!

Counterpoint: It’s not stupid! If I want to pretend I’m a Formula 1 driver with my U-Shaped Steering wheel and mash the Maximum Plaid button to drive break neck speeds then I’ll do it! Leave me alone!

How about you take about 20 - 30% off there chief.  You must be super fun at parties.

Whoa man, have a snickers! Those other people are investors and investments are not sold as a “sure thing” they are giving their money in the hopes that he can solve said problem. Counterpoint to he is a dumbass comment: Look what he’s done with Space X, you’d have to be an ignorant moron yourself to not respect the

You’re correct in saying anything can be outsourced, but there is a cost vs. benefit argument that has to be made when considering shipping in full assemblies from suppliers vs. shipping in smaller component level parts. Many different factor impact the cost but the largest of those is going to be shipping cost (since

But Tesla isn’t going to all the sudden stop making cars (yet at least) and they also are not going to drastically raise the price of a new tesla so how can a used car be worth more than its brand new counterpart?  Consumers would just go and buy a brand new one so by that logic there is really no way that a used car

It all comes down to cost per part and the parts that make vehicles better in terms of emissions are more expensive. Likely not by a lot when looking at it granularly but when huge production volumes come into play that’s where the cost increase is seen. Take a muffler for a high volume crossover for example that

Anyone else immediately google what the Honda Miimo roombaish lawnmower was all about. If it’s anything like the roomba I have in the house it’s likely to get stuck in a corner or run out of battery before it makes it back home.

I don’t think anyone is trying to say it will be a breeze, but at the end of the days companies like amazon have a business to run and automation is the future.  The problem I have with comments like this is that its just complaining that its “too hard” or “too stressful”, welp sorry, the world isn’t fair, sure it’s

That would work for most other cars, but this is a huge dodge ram dually so they’d probably notice it.  That said, being from Mississippi myself these big ass trucks are everywhere so it might just blend in

When I read “colossus” this is initially what came to mind (albeit) with water and not fire since the whole fire breathing part would be slightly counter productive. But yeah, feel a little gypped.

Let’s be honest, while having the kids seperated by a partisan would be amazing, that interior is farrrr to nice.

Appreciate that man

Interesting info about elevator door close buttons, they in fact do not work when you press them, no matter how many times you mash the button.

Better than the people who feel it’s necessary to stop a solid 10+ feet behind the white line of an intersection.  Made even more annoying when they are blissfully unaware they are blocking the RH turn lane

I wouldn’t get too caught up in the numbers matching up between the QX’s (SUV versions) and the Q’s (Car versions). For example, there’s the QX60 you mentioned but the car version using the “60" in its name is the Q60 coupe. I’ll agree the Q/QX naming architecture doesn’t make a ton of sense other than that the lower

To each their own I suppose, for me the older one (EX35 / EX37 that you posted a picture of) was hideous. It’s like it wanted to be a FX35/37 but was its uglier step sibling. People who bought an EX rarely cared if they were RWD and if they did they’d opt for the up-model FX.  So changing it to a FWD or AWD layout

They Redesigned it for 2018 and gave it the new VC-Turbo engine, AWD is also an option now as well. Personally I’m a fan of the interior but some may not want all the quiltedness, but the dark blue suede is cool. Either way, HUGE improvement over the previous gen.
