I found a teenage diary of mine where I had literally circled the spot where my tears fell on the page, and wrote something like 'See mum! This matters!'. I had to destroy it, it was so mortifying.

They managed to get the inflatable tube guy to dance to the beat!

Lilja 4 Ever. You ask yourself, can it get worse from here? And then it does.

Puns. Puns. A few more puns.

What pushed it over to heart-breaking for me is not just that Vaughn ignores her at the door, but that Gilda doesn't persist - she knows her father and knows that he will not help her. She's always known he puts himself first, but is finally experiencing that first hand.

I was expecting to see this addressed in the review, and when it wasn't I got really worried that she had died and I had somehow completely forgotten about it. Glad to know I am not actually losing my mind.

I think Jane Got a Gun is in this territory (I haven't seen it).

Not if you don't have a record player? But the point is that you can't do it with mp3s.
