I was prepared to hate Girls…then I watched it earlier this year and found it intelligent, well written and funny. I don't get the hate for it. It's a damn good show.

Stage whispers

Sadly, not surprising.

This and the acrimony in the Violent Femmes makes me sad. Both bands meant alot to me in my teens and early 20s. I wish they got along better…but such is life.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

I've never played any of the Fallout games, but playing that made me hesitate to ever try them. It was just so dumb, but I kept hoping it would get good.

Really starting to think that Season 2 is just a mess. Season 1 was so spectacular but the plotting and characters of Season 2 don't begin to measure up.

"It's stand-up routines sitting down with a host interrupting!" - pitch session that led to this show

Wasn't there also a report from a fellow who tweeted at Louis for exposing himself to some friends of his who are in comedy and Louis called him up and asked what he had heard. Okay, it's only 2 stories now, but that's more than 1.

Woah, this is back in the peach days.

The Departed and The Wolf of Wall Street are two good examples of DiCaprio making a decent film worse. He's shined in some smaller parts, but I rarely think he is good enough to be the lead in a major movie.

Anyone started Football Manager 2016? Curious how the 3D match engine is…course I ask that question every year and I'm always a little disappointed.

This was a fun, nostalgic read.

Joseph did a nice job.

Really good article.

And yes, I am nonplussed about "nonplussed"!

It's 2015 can we all please either stop using "nonplussed" entirely or start using it correctly? (which is to say that it means the opposite of what you think it means)

"2 cups of bacon fat, a pound of brown sugar, a couple of tablespoons of maple syrup and a bowl of ground up cocoa puffs. Mix that up and smear it on your face, now that's what we call Sweet Freedom back home!" - Paula Deen

In the future there is no orthodontia?!

Ugh, that sounds like Interstellar. We don't need more future farm footage.
