The speed limit drops because it's an "urban" area. The only time I've been pulled over on 81 (2nd time of 3 I've ever been pulled over) was in Roanoke almost 2 years ago. I had just come off 581 to 81 northbound and was going something like 70 in the 55 zone and was caught by the city PD.
Eh just go with traffic (which is almost 80 anyway) and every half hour let that one guy past you who HAS to go faster than you. Slow down a little through cities like Harrisonburg and Roanoke, and you're set.

There's a woman at the pool I work at who records her daughter taking swim lessons. She does look very awkward. My view is that it'd be more useful for things like when you're taking notes. A government guy at another place I work uses his Gov-issued iPad to take notes of whiteboards after meetings.
