I'm going to think that the TSA was having some forethought about what other people in the terminal might say. Worst case scenario: Someone sees it, tells an officer, and then the terminal is cleared and everyone goes through security again. Crazy? No.

You have a lot of faith in people.

Yep. It's a great thing.

I'm one of those people.

Verizon denies using Carrier IQ (it's in another article on Giz today).

I read that yesterday and I'm glad somebody linked to it. GIZMODO WAKE UP.

How much though?

This is great.

My grandfather didn't pay for AOL (dailup!) for years.

I'm a Google Apps administrator at my work, and it's hard enough to teach people "ok, click on "documents" at the top of the window."

Eh I don't really know what my point was, and I apologise for that. I thought I had one but I'm really tired. I only use iCloud to sync my photos between iPad, iPhone, and computer. Whatever works, you know?

You host your own calendars and contacts?

Because people want to pay more money in the end for a phone on-contract.

That's what I tell the ladies.

And nobody will blink an eye at it because whenever anything is done "in the name of safety", we're willing to roll over.

Good tip! I will try it this weekend.

Wow, I use Firefox for work and have it set to automatically open 3 tabs when I startup (well, those 3 tabs are open when I close Firefox so it just re-opens them). SO much faster to startup now. This will be especially nice when Firefox freezes up and I have to force quit and restart.

I got 11 hours of battery life with moderate usage- music in the car, texting, checking prices on things at the mall, even buying a new case at the Apple Store with Easy Pay (btw: SUPER easy).

I'm going to bet they have thought of this. If the water level's not maintained at a constant height, or if it happens to get too high because of torrential rain, then I'm betting they close the walkway.
