I worked as a docent at the Met for over 5 years. Here’s a few points:
- she showed up on a Saturday afternoon, one of the busiest times of the week. If she was there on a Monday at 10am there may not have been an issue.

I’ve actually got some sympathy for the museum here. I can imagine that people would she works for the Met in some capacity. I certainly would if I saw her wandering around a classical art museum dressed like that. Anywhere else, I would think her outfit was very cool, but I can see why the museum wouldn’t think it…

My aunt works as a delivery driver for a pharmacy that delivers medication to nursing homes. One year (about a week before Halloween) I helped her on her run and I was shocked to see that the staff had actually decorated the nurse’s station with a graveyard theme.

Good. They should deny her entry.

This just reminds me of the Halloween I got kicked out of the Assisted Living Center because dressing as the Grim Reaper was “inappropriate” and “wrong” and “27 is too old to go trick or treating”

I truly, truly, truly try to be tolerant of all people and just try to let people be happy, but come the fuck ON. I’m glad she got kicked out. I hope it happens again. Throw a fucking party if you want to put that shit on, or go to some kind of costume ball.
