I think it’s safe to say when an article/post refers to a Chinook as a “big ol’ two-blade helicopter” the only ‘fact’ you can trust from the author is that maybe an aircraft was involved, everything else is a crapshoot.
I dunno if Chinooks are “most commonly used in search and rescue operations in Afghanistan.” Although they are used for that purpose, they’re most commonly used for special operations and personnel transfer. Pedantic! I know! I’m sorry!
That’s pretty normal when you live in multi-unit dwelling?
