My motto is: do what makes you happy. If that means not putting miles on a car then good for you. That’s not my jam but who am I to tell you what to do?
I picked my 06 up at auction for under $2k. Under 100k miles, everything working. I’ve put a little more into it to get it perfect for me (window tint, Wal-Mart center console, rods for the rear door handles to work on the inside). CP for this rough 03.
Last I heard he didn’t have 250 GTO. I believe he has a 250 SWB (potential competition car) that’s white but no GTO. I know it’s pedantic but...
I blame Adam. I’ve never liked him and his “schtick” and think that he genuinely brought the rest of the program down with him.
The Suburban I bought had been previously stolen and wrecked and I didn’t know about it. The dealership/auction gave me some BS pseudo-Carfax that didn’t include those little details... I only found out about it when I took it into Carmax to see what it was worth.
I walked through the one at the Museum of Flight in Seattle and was amazed as to how small the inside was. I’m quite tall (6'6") but the ceiling of that thing seemed to be around my shoulder level or lower. Would’ve made for a very uncomfortable trip for me but damn do I wish I had the opportunity to ride on one back…
Haha, I had the same issue with a review I did on an F150. I guess saying anything negative or talking about the competition is a huge no-no.
Miata. My roommate bought one (NB) for that specific purpose.
I have to say that Cat’s Exotics in Lynnwood, Washington is pretty dang sweet. Check this walkthrough video I did a few months ago:
Damn. I was actually looking at these on Autotrader this morning. Here’s the only other manual wagon I could find for sale in the US:
I had this happen on a video review I did of a Ford F150 I had rented. Once the *insert brand here*-fanboys get a hold of it, you’re done.
I wish they compared the RS6 with the AWD version of the E63 AMG S - would’ve made for a much closer and evenly matched race.
I just hate Adam. The others are fine but Adam annoys the shit out of me.
It should only have 235 hp.
Dang it Doug. Now I’ve got to look at my saved Autotrader search for 997 911 Turbos... Would you get the convertible or coupe?
Love the license plate.
There was a mustang forum thread where the guy mentioned “flushing” the oil reservoir out by running a garden hose and water through it. He then asked why it was running rough/wouldn’t run. The community lost their shit.
The single cab was only available with the stick. The quad cab was only available with the auto.
Makes me glad I went and did the Monza pilgrimage last year. I’m doing different GPs this year and would’ve hated to miss out on experiencing the unique experience that is an Italian race.
