I feel bad for Daniel but this is tremendous content.

I’m genuinely happy that Radcliffe has managed to have a career post-Potter.

I consider myself a liberal, a progressive, an ally . . . all the things that privileged white guys tell themselves to justify the comparatively easy road that has been laid out for us from the get-go. But as I was reading this my first thought was, “why does it matter? He assaulted this woman; why get pedantic about

Wrestling coach here. I am tired of hearing the same thing from my fellow coaches and wrestling parents: “Wrestling toughens these kids up”; “I made my kid wrestle to build character!”; “I signed my son up to wrestle to make him tough!”

That’s great info. So players who frequently take penalties and have experience with an unnatural shot have a less predictable pattern. While those who shoot less are more likely to take a natural shot. If the goalies do their homework it is much better than a 50/50 proposition.

I’m also a huge fan of standing one

BEGIN RANT. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO KEEP GRAY.

Hey everyone, we found one of the guys who reads and comments on every football article to tell everyone how he quit watching football entirely. This version even comes with specific talking points about the supposed unwatchability of the product on the field that I guess, he, uh, heard about from somewhere.

definitely helped quarterbacks, but so has coaching. When Deadspin published that article about how their were no good QB’s, the main complaint from coaches was that college programs were not preparing players for the pro game. They were all still looking for 7 step pocket passers that could read a defense or

He lives (and infects the radio airwaves) in Denver. He’s also, yes, garbage all the way down to the center of the earth.

Other than the fact that he’s never done either, spot on.

I contest point #2. Dumber yet was Bud Black taking Charlie Blackmon out of the game for Cargo as a defensive replacement in the 8th as part of a double switch. I can only imagine Bud wanted Cargo arm in RF at that point in the game with a runner on 2nd, but that is a reach. Taking your best player out of a tight game

Offensive pass interference that wasn’t called before the touchdown.

Zlatan’s 500th last week blew out both my hammys and a quad and was arguably better than any bicycle kick but Modric is the fucking man - paying him the ultimate compliment - he’s the Megan Rapinoe of the men’s game.

Oh my god, that one at 8:20 in the 3rd quarter... oh my god, that one at 3:20 in the 4th!

Counter point:

I see your sad sack city’s cool minor league team and raise you my sad sack city’s cool minor league team, Phoenix Rising FC. Also a cool logo plus Didier Drogba is part owner/player.

“It is what it is”. I say it all the time, and immediately hate myself for it.

Two thoughts:

I’ve played co-ed soccer exclusively for most of the last 15 years in New England, the midwest, and the southeast; while it’s possible that as a guy I’m blind to some issues that I don’t know I’m blind to, my experiences are completely different. Maybe it’s the rules - all the leagues I’ve been in have been

Played in a school district growing up where the system once you reached extra time was golden goal with the number of players reduced by 2 every 10 minutes. It started with 10 mins 9v9, then 10 mins 7v7, etc. We only had 2 games go to extra time, but it neither reached 5v5, and usually some quality chances during the
