I am from there, though I only visit once or twice a year now. I would agree - Tacoma is vastly improved in the last couple of decades and has become a pretty decent place.

This has been my experience with tech like radar cruise and lane keep assist. I don’t trust any of it enough to let my guard down, and now I have to pay extra attention to how the systems are working. They’re great for a momentary break to wiggle your toes and shake out your shoulders, but I’m more relaxed just doing…
At the time Toyota chose the name “Tacoma”, it was a city mostly known for a terrible smell from the pulp mills and high crime. The choice has always baffled me.
The last car I had with a problem sunroof was a 1998 Range Rover, but that vehicle had problems with just about everything. Have owned at least a dozen vehicles with sunroofs since without a single problem. My BIL did have his F150 sunroof break, and it cost a fortune to fix. Apparently it’s common and usually due to…
Might not be in the EU, but still geographically in Europe.
I believe it. It’s funny, because in the Ram community the consensus seems to be “I thought I would hate it, but now I get it”. Market research generally just confirms that people resist change, but sometimes you have to force it.
I second this. I was worried about the dial when I got my Ram, but instead of a pointless phallic lever now I have a console that can swallow my laptop or one of those 4 drink cardboard carriers. If Ford had done the same, they wouldn’t have had to engineer that stupid folding lever to make room for their very cool…
I think I might just get a different cap next time. Or take it somewhere. We only put like 6-7000 miles/year on it.
I had an F30 with the N20 and it was so easy. Next time I’m replacing the cap with a different one.
It’s a 2009. Other BMW products I’ve owned had that (I have a couple of big low profile sockets for that reason) but this one is just smooth on top with ridged sides. Whoever put it on last cranked it hard.
Had a similar situation trying to remove the filter cap on my 328i a couple of weeks ago. Took 3 hours to do a 5 minute job. There’s no fitting on the cap, just some ridges around the edge, so getting a tool to grip was a real challenge. Finally borrowed the biggest channel lock pliers I’ve ever seen from my…
Very basically - when it doesn’t meet my needs anymore, or when I don’t trust it anymore. Or, if we’re being extra honest, sometimes just when I get bored.
Keep the Miata, buy the best used 4Runner the budget will allow. It will haul the stuff, won’t get creamed by the bad roads, great for snow. Plus, they don’t take the same hit to resale value with a little city abuse.
It’s probably going to take two trips to move both of those tires with your Yugo.
My 2009 BMW 328i costs less to own than my 2017 Expedition by a significant margin.
First gear: Wait, so there is a person out there who has owned one EcoSport, and now has put forth significant effort to own a second? That’s the real news.
Honestly, what I got from this is that the owner was notified that he was being tracked thanks to a safety feature that Apple offers, which wouldn’t have happened if the thieves used any of the other myriad similar devices available on the market.
It can have a 3rd row, but it’s almost useless and leaves no cargo room behind it.
I sat in one recently when I was looking at a Palisade for my wife. The interior really is special - maybe even more so in different trims with a little more luxury slant. I wish that there was a Palisade-sized Genesis.
It’s a movie that I don’t think I’ve ever sat down with the intention to watch, but I’ll click on it almost every time I see it in the guide. Holds up for me.
