I’m sorry, but this is nonsense. I buy way too many cars, often out of state. TT&L is complicated, I will give you that. Sometimes it creates some minor extra headaches for me that usually end with a refund. It’s just part of the territory.

I think this has better proportions than a stock Camaro. There’s lots to be concerned about, but the price is low enough to roll the dice.

There’s a lot to like. Having a tire with some sidewall is great. Cool fabric on the seats, and I like the highlights and the color a lot.  May be a customer.

Getting a Mini is just buying more problems.  Depreciation is bad too.  Still loved mine and miss it every day.

Wranglers are tons of fun, but hard to live with. Top removal, for example, is a huge pain unless you can leave it off all the time. Getting in and out isn’t fun, especially if you’re dealing with health problems already.  

Few things help me forget my troubles faster than top-down driving, so I think Brian is doing a great thing.

I’ve strongly considered buying an XE a couple of times, but the tiny back seat and trunk just don’t accommodate my needs. I’d still love to have this, and it’s a great price. I don’t think anybody does ride/handling/steering better than Jaguar, and this one would sound fantastic.

There are some dealers moving to that model, but I think most are still paid a commission. There is a minimum flat rate (they call it a “mini”) on sales with little profit built in, but I guarantee you there’s profit in most of the deals going out right now.
