I’m sorry, but this is nonsense. I buy way too many cars, often out of state. TT&L is complicated, I will give you that. Sometimes it creates some minor extra headaches for me that usually end with a refund. It’s just part of the territory.

I think this has better proportions than a stock Camaro. There’s lots to be concerned about, but the price is low enough to roll the dice.
This is the most useful thing I will learn today. Thanks!
There’s a lot to like. Having a tire with some sidewall is great. Cool fabric on the seats, and I like the highlights and the color a lot. May be a customer.
I told the dealer I could find a home for as many as he can get in at the price I paid.
Just got my first EV, a Niro. We don’t have 240v yet, and I’ve been really surprised at how slow it charges. In my case, my teens will drive it mostly and they rarely go more than 30 miles in a day, so even the slow charging will probably be fine. But we have gas vehicles for other needs. It would be hard to make it…
Getting a Mini is just buying more problems. Depreciation is bad too. Still loved mine and miss it every day.
Wranglers are tons of fun, but hard to live with. Top removal, for example, is a huge pain unless you can leave it off all the time. Getting in and out isn’t fun, especially if you’re dealing with health problems already.
Few things help me forget my troubles faster than top-down driving, so I think Brian is doing a great thing.
Good call - a 996 in particular could even go up in value.
6 years? Shoot, my wife could have knocked that out in 6 months, easy.
Clearly the sun is in the east since it’s on the right. Sunrise for sure.
I’ve strongly considered buying an XE a couple of times, but the tiny back seat and trunk just don’t accommodate my needs. I’d still love to have this, and it’s a great price. I don’t think anybody does ride/handling/steering better than Jaguar, and this one would sound fantastic.
I’ve never managed to get myself in this situation, but I would imagine the first thing to do when you hit something above you is to get out and assess the situation. This guy just doubled and tripled down on a bad plan with even worse ones.
Nailed it. This is the exact type of obscure minutiae gleaned from decades of obsession over all vehicles that makes me such a hit at parties.
I’ll concede that point.
There are some dealers moving to that model, but I think most are still paid a commission. There is a minimum flat rate (they call it a “mini”) on sales with little profit built in, but I guarantee you there’s profit in most of the deals going out right now.
Came for this - “strawberry baskets” is much, much nicer than what we called these in high school.
Yes, since you can’t argue with the logic you imply I’m a racist. Not surprising.
It does in a business where the employees are paid on commission.
