Dave Martinez has been masterful in this postseason.  Sure, the results make that easy to say, but given the constraints he has, his decision-making has been spot on, and if the Nats had lost the NLDS in 5 he still would have been right to use his assets the way he did.

The massive favorite booking is puzzling. Houston is a great team, but you roll out Max/Strasburg/Corbin/Anibal in a four game series (plus 2 MVP level players on offense), you’re probably not getting rolled in four games.

In New York City there is scant public park space. For example, almost every blade of grass in Central Park is off-limits from October to April. But some public schools allow the public to use their grass/dirt fields, playgrounds, and basketball/handball courts on weekends.

It is not. They donated funds for improving a a pre-existing public facility and licensed that facility. They certainly did not build their own field.

It’s racist against white people to suggest that the 30% hit their stocks took in 2008-2009 wasn’t the worst suffering anyone withstood in that period.
