BWI isn’t the biggest airport. So they can’t be a hub for many other airlines. Only recently has BWI started to fix up their other terminals to make it attractive for people to fly on other airlines.

Before TSA Precheck, I would go with flip flops.  But since then, the Adidas Superstar has been my go to sneaker for traveling on a plane.  When in Russia for the World Cup, I used a pair of Brooks running shoes and it worked wonders.
