The FiOS has better upload. But Comcast has high uploads for their business accounts. They are close.

I’m looking at a used 2015 MBP. I don’t really want an iPad (I do want an iPad mini one day). Trying to stay under $750-$800.

Have fun explaining why someone might get hurt because some people want to watch the world burn.

I never said it was competitive. Your parameters were two ISPs providing the same speed. Comcast and FiOS are comparable.

A lot of these cards can be OCed through software. When you buy used, you never know how long it got put through OCing. That’s my issue. I feel some people will run it beyond its limits.

Still.

Even with Ethereum, mining on GPUs and CPUs is just bleh. Gotta have something dedicated like an ASIC miner to make it worth it.

Those cards will be put through the ringer. I would never buy a used GPU or CPU.

I know people who send equipment to military folks overseas. All that stops when the government is shutdown.

I think people forget that the military in active warzones relies on civilians employees to get them things they need. Can you imagine trying to call a military civilian asking for power generation equipment and getting voicemail for a week straight?

At the end of the day, all people want is a vote. Of course people want one particular solution, but I honestly think that there is plenty of room for compromise.

That’s Schumer’s job. To see who can eat a bad vote and who can’t.

It’s great that you want to be an e-thug and bash on Schumer. That’s fine and all. But you are not in his situation. He might be responsible for his constituents, but he is also responsible for his fellow Democrats. There are a ton of consultants looking at every angle on who might be primaried, which seat might flip

The way I see it, Democrats just wanted to have a DACA bill to vote on. So let’s hope that Congress works as its supposed to and have some bills come up for a vote. If it doesn’t win, it doesn’t win. That’s how Congress works (or should). But you know, they hold up judicial nominees for useless reasons, so whatevs.

What is Albany going to do? Use passenger pigeons?

No. He’s still a moron who just signed a useless bill.

Many. Baltimore has FiOS and Comcast.

Here’s the problem: depending on what office they are thinking about, your ISP is limited. If for example Albany was in a Comcast/FiOS market and both of them had policies against net neutrality, what does Albany do? Not have internet access? What if the plan that Comcast/FiOS sells to them has net neutrality rules?

I agree. If anything, it’s probably a good thing because if you were on another device, new updates become unstable. The big issue here is that Apple should have mentioned it much earlier to give people an option to upgrade their battery.

I already use Windows for my desktop PC (gaming rig that’s up there in age). I’ll look towards the newer MBP. But I’m trying to stay under $900 if I can help it.
