Really?

The Miata has clean tight curves, the Fiat was clearly designed after the fact, it’s a bit blobby without the classic clean Italian lines.

In person it’s an easy call.

It’s called Michigan. Now factor in living in Metro Detroit.

Insurance is ridiculous here but I don’t know how you came up with that 5k figure.

You need to factor in insurance, that drops it to around $1,050 a month. That puts you in the 80-90k range. Also you need to remember those leases ask for substantial money down (7-10k) so you need to adjust your pricing accordingly to compare.

This plan is not for people like you.

If you’re an executive salesman you’re driving 25k miles a year, picking up upper managment and entertaining them. You save $150 a month on insurance $20-40 a month in tires, maybe another $20 in oil changes and with free detailing that could save you up to $200-400 a month.

We’re still talking about cars, right?

I have a sneaking suspicion there is a clause in there against towing.

Being a bit of a bigger guy the Porsche/BMW offerings can be tight. The domestic or Mercedes offerings may fit you better.

This article screams of bull feces.

You’re full of it.

A car that’s been sitting on the lot for a year will go for significantly less than a current model with company discount. Did you not read a single thing I wrote?

I picked up a 2014 Fiesta 1 liter in 2015 for $13200 out the door. Discounts  like that are about normal for me.

You don’t like me because

No no, I get wayyyy better than manufacture pricing. I look for the cars that have been sitting, the weird option packages or undesirable colors. For me 20-30% off current sticker is normal on a Ford, GM or Chrysler.

Salesmen have been absolutely zero help for me or any of the 30 people I’ve gone with to buy car. All

The EB makes way more power than the EcoDiesel. It’s still a turbocharged gasser. If you’re hard on it (faster than 10 seconds 0-60) it will drink fuel.

What did you expect? 375 horsepower does not come free.

The market has no idea what it wants. Ford has the PR engine, they’ll get you to buy whatever they make.

US small car sales are stagnant.

The US market is a small portion of the world sales.

I’m an automotive engineer. I design the cars that keep your bottom line fat.

Why do you think you always need to be a value add service? Some people need your help, I don’t. Lets keep it transactional. I’m moving a car off your lot, I’m not your friend.

I know exactly what you paid for the car, I know all the dealer

E39 BEST FOUR DOOR CAR?

Wow, you guys need to get off the internet once in awhile.

I’ve had pretty good car buying experiences but that’s because I know exactly what I want and what price said vehicles sells for.Never ask them for advice, they’re simply a glorified cashier. Treat them as such.

I’ve met the lead designer Camilo Pardo, he is absolutely an artist. You should look up his work. Also a solid guy.

Yep, same in my 2005 WRX. Remember we’re at record vehicle sales, that means air bag demand is at an all time high. Plus there’s a ton of cost to redesign, verify and get the new parts into production. It’s not like they’re making little stamped brackets.

There are only a handful of airbag manufacturers, they can’t go into receivership or stop production the industry does not have the excess capacity.

As soon as a company looks like it’s going under all the suppliers start demanding cash on delivery and it snowballs from there.

My W115 is the same way. You can’t hurry the car, it simply won’t let you. It’s delightful.
