I saved money at my wedding by not having a very small wedding ceremony. Only immediate family were invited and we splurged on a fancy dinner.

The labor and parts for this swap makes it almost worth the asking price. I would go $10K and leave the rest of the money to reinforce the rear subframe and suspension. An E36 M3 engine twisting a diff fastened to an E30 rear end!? No good can come of it.

I don't understand how the weight savings occur on half of these items just based on this sales pitch. I understand using magnesium and redesigning parts can reduce weight. What does anti-glare coatings, electronic brakes, men's pants wearing out have to do with weight savings?

Yo, Chrysler! Remember who begged who to bail your deadbeat ass out of the fire in 2009? Yeah, now we are calling in our favor. RECALL YOUR DEATHTRAPS!

Damn fugly disgrace to the tri-star and an actually decent car.

Hells no! I learned that no good deed goes unpunished. In fact, I was reminded of this lesson this week.

This was some gossip my wife told me a year ago. When her physician colleague became pregnant, her older patients started changing doctors immediately. Her colleague found out from other male physicians that those old fools thought it was unlucky to see a pregnant female doctor.

Turbos don’t suck. They blow.

A sales tax only system has significant drawbacks. In an economic downturn, tax revenues dry up when people stop buying stuff. If the savings rate goes up leading people to spend less, tax revenues go down.

Avoid group projects like the plague. If you do not have this option, pick your team wisely and headhunt team members weeks ahead of time. You will save yourself a lot of miserable sleepless nights doing excessive work and/or cleaning up after your teammates.

I never understood why we just don't send some robots to Mars and start constructing habitats and run tests with remote controlled machines before sending humans?

Only if the cute girl is included with the car.

Good analogy, but you did not take into account the size of the purchase price or the mobility of the asset. It might make sense to rent a toothbrush, too. But nobody in their right mind would do it because a toothbrush is too cheap to rent. People rent appliances like $99 microwaves for $14 per month (god knows

I love your article as well as Tarvish's antics. I agree with your first two points. You can not judge feelings.

On a technicality using CA carbon credits. Exclude it and operating income is still negative.

Musk is busy selling Model S en mass in China.
