Or, you know, the Top Gear team.
Or, you know, the Top Gear team.
I know that we are all different and all have our own opinions, but I actually like this concept, a lot. It’s definitely polarising, but I think with a different color of paint it would look a lot better (and probably appeal to a lot more people).
Doug, I’ve never actually seen a CTS-V wagon, or any CTS-V for that matter, since Cadillac isn’t sold here anymore (it was for a few years but only very unexciting models of the CTS were brought in, long story for another day) but from what I have read about it and seen about it on YouTube, it is epic and so it became…
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
11/10, would drive.
Meanwhile, around here the traffic police (or “Metro police”) have BMW M135i’s, Focus STs, GTI’s and Mercedes Benz A250’s.
That’s crazy. I have seen a few Ram trucks and Toyota Tundras (as well as one Ford F150 Raptor) around, but all have been imported and converted to right hand drive at what I can only imagine must have been a considerable expense.
I’m asking from the point of view that, well, here in South Africa we don’t get anything like the trucks that you get in the States. We get the global Ford Ranger, the Toyota Hilux, the Isuzu trucks and the Amarok (among all the other crap chinese knockoff trucks), none of which make that sort of power.
The official figures say it has a 0-60mph time of 10.9 seconds. I wasn’t able to confirm that time myself, but it felt far quicker. Wouldn’t that (and the 420nm of torque, from quite low down in the rev range) be enough? I mean apart from the difference in power.
Would I pay for safety tech? If the tech is anything over and above what (I guess) could now be considered essential features in a car - ABS, traction control, EBD, air bags etc - then no. I don’t see a need for features that will ultimately distract my driving.
Enough to get it moving? I’ve driven the 2.0 BiTDI 4motion with the 8 speed auto, and while it doesn’t exactly set the road alight it can actually get out of it’s own way pretty quickly. The torque is great.
Well... How do you know?
The want is strong with this one.
Ferrari FF-ish.
Máté, I’m pretty sure he heard you the first time.
Peugeot are *the* biggest teases when it comes to concept cars. They release stunning concepts, and then follow up with mediocre shitbox production cars. I would hope that they would produce this, but I highly doubt it.
The only thing I would want to do with this involves exiting it.
Honestly, with those looks, I wouldn't even care.
Thanks, I wasn't aware this car existed until you told me what it was.
Am I the only one who thinks this C4 Cactus looks awesome?
