I will take my winnings in the form of broken concrete chunks. You can deposit them into the bed of my new GMC Sierra from a ludicrous height.

“iPhone of cars” makes me cringe so much.

An honest reporter would have noted that “The Model 3 has panels gaps reminiscent of a ‘75 Cordoba”...

I think the way the manuals and 5 speed auto does it is great. True fulltime AWD. On the other hand the 4 speed auto marketing is a lie. It’s part time AWD. Subaru seems to have addressed that in the later cars and the better transmissions. I’ve owned quite a few Suby’s. Tracked one for a couple years. I’ve had my WRX

On the contrary, I think weight savings are even more important when you’re working with a heavy vehicle.

I agree, it’s all about the 4Runner for this one.

You all know me and know what I drive and so you are going to expect me to go with old land cruiser. But frankly, you should buy a Subaru.

The ambulance actually makes decent sense. That firetruck/ambulance for sale site has some cool stuff, alot of it is a hell of a lot more expensive than I would have thought though.

40K you say ?

At the dealerships? I wonder if there is a risk of overcharging.

Now playing

I can’t find the clip where they’re throwing out cigarettes at a parade, but this will do:

If you don’t understand the difference between how a clutch based system works vs the CRV style pump design and how those affect torque split I can’t help you. I’m not teaching a class on AWD design just for you.

I’d be totally okay if Toyota branded their NASCAR car as a Crown over a Camry for this very reason: no RWD Camry. Definitely an RWD Crown!

Japanese ads are actually mostly white people. I went last year it was really strange. They didn’t seem super excited that we were visiting but love to have us in their ads. Strange.

There are plenty of blown headgaskets to be found in 90s Honda products as well... Maybe not as bad as Subaru, but, happened to my 91 Civic and 89 Civic wagon with push AWD.

That is patently false.

I’ve taken each of these systems down to their bare components. The Honda system is built like a tinker toy. It’s not actually AWD until there’s front to rear slip, then that torque transfer is unpredictable and easily overheats.

I noticed that too. The Japanese seem to suffer from a racial inferiority complex. Their anime characters mostly look western too. I think it drives them to work harder though.

As an owner of a 17 CRV, Honda still doesn’t have a competent AWD system.

This AWD system is junk in comparison to the Subaru offerings.

So odd that a vehicle meant only for domestic sale would have so many lily-white people in the promo materials. Sweet ride.
