I lived in Chile from 90-92 and on cable they would show NASCAR races live. Since it may have been a pirated signal you got all the commercial break chatter from those good ole boys. Best part of the race.

I went to a Nascar Cup race a few years ago in Chicago, and you could listen to the broadcast on the Racing Electronics headsets we rented for the day. While they were at commercial, the commentary was broadcast to those headsets - it was fun to listen to their commentary when they weren’t broadcasting.
