Time and space have seemingly been bent, and it was a small engineering firm in Japan that made it happen. Until…
Yeah, I grew up in old money CT, lived in old money NY, and currently live in old money VA. The only constant I’ve seen is lack of ostentatious and a desire not to stick out. I.e., a three year old E class wagon rather than a brand new S class sedan. And besides from that, whatever goes.
Oh please. I’m from a serious old money New England town, a member of broke old money family (the money was long gone, but the name remained). Do you know what old money actually drives? Anything they damned well please, because that is what being wealthy allows. Even an S-class a year isn’t even pocket money to the…

I lived in Chile from 90-92 and on cable they would show NASCAR races live. Since it may have been a pirated signal you got all the commercial break chatter from those good ole boys. Best part of the race.
I went to a Nascar Cup race a few years ago in Chicago, and you could listen to the broadcast on the Racing Electronics headsets we rented for the day. While they were at commercial, the commentary was broadcast to those headsets - it was fun to listen to their commentary when they weren’t broadcasting.
