People forget about this, thanks for making this good point.

My wife and I discussed just such a badge swap on this very car. We have been considering buying her one but part of the hesitation comes from the stigma of Buick. It would be weird for us to own a Buick and having the badge on the car would mean friends, neighbors, and passers-by would see it is just that.

“you should have reason to be mad about a robot stepping in for a paid worker, right?”

Do you have any idea of the complexity, cost and inefficiency of the petroleum infrastructure? By cooled cables, batteries and chargers exist today and are absolutely a “real-world application”.  Enjoy burning fossil fuels for an extra 50 miles of range and 7 minutes less fueling-station time.

This change is actually EXCELLENT! Thank you, F1. I hated the old system and this new system is way better and actually makes sense.  Dont listen to the haters.

I am in Chicago. Been three times as spectator/volunteer with Mike K. Great memories, honestly, all over. Driving through the Ranch with one of the guys that knows the caretaker before and after the stages was something I will never forget. He easily lost me in his Silverado vs me in my Outback. Ford/VW have collaborated on minivans as well.

He gets the title “President”. He does not get my respect.

“it’s not certain that heavy mainstream demand will exist for these vehicles”

This is great news for us, the AWD. My wife and I wish to replace her 2010 Forester with something more fuel efficient. Not only is this 3 gorgeous but it is AWD and gets great mileage, I expect. Thank you Mazda!

You are doing God’s work, thank you sir/ma’am.

Hahaha, nice, that gave me a good laugh. :)

You mean the VOLT is hybrid, not EV.

I don’t hate this system nearly as much as others seem too, after reading through some of the comments. If the system can be done correctly, why WOULDNT you want to know who is not a good member of society and who is? Credit scores, buyer/seller feedback, BBB ratings, Yelp reviews and word of mouth are all examples of

You gotta worry about the Feds, not the states. Sounds like no solution for the Feds except RI and, therefore, $$$.
