“To be fair you really can’t see shit out of those cars.”

This is the best Herbie replica I have ever seen.

Im guessing they do it because of the proximity to infrastructure (hotels, seats, existing races to support, shopping, restaurants) versus being out in the sticks/countryside

Oh, I guess  that makes sense. I thought he could sell the car but keep paying the loan. Can you tell I have never had a car loan?  Sorry folks.

I have subpar credit and an underwater auto loan and that has a bad CVT transmission. I am currently stuck driving a 2003 Toyota echo coupe with a 7 month old baby that must be in a rear facing seat. Let’s just say it’s not easy getting the baby in and out of the vehicle. I think we owe close to $10,000 on the car

Mandatory attendance for every gearhead at least once. I had the same experience and I have been back to NHRA events several times since. That first time:

Care to share more about this?

Am I going to regret getting one for $16-$18k with around 50k mi for a daily driver?”

I lived in NC for 12 years and just went back to Salvo, NC for vacation 2 weeks ago. I share your sentiment and at the time I also reminded myself how fragile these islands are.

Well, I am supposed to go to Raleigh for work, Wednesday through Friday (no joke, the exact dates the hurricane will be there too).  Even though it is for work, I feel like I should still go anyway to help my parents in case the house floods or gets a tree falling into it like with Fran.

“You know what Joe, I’ll admit it: a company that just digs tunnels is not nearly as exciting as a rocketship program or a car firm. One might even call it bor...wait a minute, oh my god, this is too funny. Hold up, I can’t believe I just realized this....”

“But Asians, particularly East Asians, have a record of ingrained cultural superiority and racism”

Gotta get one of the Formula E cars and go hillclimbing, no? Either stateside or Switzerland/Europe?

...and???

Why was he even mic-ed up?

Sounds like we agree: the e30 is better for sliding!

I owned my 1997 M3 for a year or so. The only gripes I had that I do not hear much about these cars it that I think it had TOO much grip. I was coming from 3 e30s in a row and I did not get the oversteer fun from the e36 that I was hoping. Blame the 245-width rear tires and sophisticated rear suspension I guess. I

I remember seeing this video at middle school in Alberta when I loved there as a kid.

How else will he know what to think about it?
