Thanks. As I typed nearby, i tried that but admittedly, the zerk fitting wasnt the exact right one so not sure how much grease got in there. maybe ill try again.
Thanks, I read that too. I bought a luber from Harbor Freight but the zerk fitting wasnt the exact right fit. I still squeezed in all i could to the 3-4 fittings. Still makes the sound. I guess it might not be doing any harm.
My 2006 4runner 4x4 v6 Sr5 has symptom #2, the clunk when I leave from a dead stop. Since this 4runner was built with coil springs and disc brakes, any idea what might be causing my clunk?

Cool down times, I dont know that I care much about them. How often will I use Ludicris mode? I bet 4 seconds to 60 or whatever it is without that mode is plenty 99% of the time.
