A lot of younger* prestigious private universities (MIT, Stanford, Duke, Johns Hopkins...) are incorrectly assumed to be Ivy League, and they seem too quietly allow…

Just FYI, Stanford is not in the Ivy League. The Ivies are Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, and Penn. The only criterion for being an Ivy is membership in the Ivy League athletic conference.
