The “Parkland” joke (the name was never uttered) was actually pretty funny and rather astute observation about the differences between growing up in the past compared to today. 

And just because she forgives him, doesn’t mean you have to. People think differently. There is nothing evil about her forgiving him. There is absolutely nothing for you to get upset about here.

DiCarpio was a great kid and teen actor. He turned into a solid adult actor along the way. But I think this is bc he is like Brad Pitt and takes roles he is often not right for. Both Pitt and DiCaprio work better when they are playing to their goofier sides (12 Monkeys; Django Unchained).

Yeah, I don’t recall Nabokov hating women. He even wrote positive reviews to women writers. Which seems an odd thing to do for a person who hates women.
