Edmunds has had one in their long term fleet for awhile, it hasn't exactly been reliable

Budweiser did sponsor Williams for a year or two, if I remember it was $5 million a year for those little bitty decals
Mr. Fux also owns one of the five B59 Brumos 911s
I think I remember reading that the Alfa engine was reverse engineered from a scrapped Chevy/Ilmor V8 and Pat Patrick was somewhat shunned for several years after that until returning in '95 with Firestone backing
We had a '05 GX and traded it for an Enclave when it got long in the tooth because the 3rd row seats are small and pretty impractical with two kids with car seats installed, since the only access is by folding the 2nd row out of the way. Or entering through the back door.
There was Charles Nearburg, who used his oil money to buy a ride with Coyne and made Robin Miller's list of 10 worst Indycar drivers of all time.
Team was originally started by some guy named Ron Dennis
Krispy Kreme opened in the Houston market around 2001 and was gone in less than 3 years, cannot compete with Shipley's here
Also worth mentioning, for this redesign for 1990 they had to relocate the turbo to the front of the engine, adjacent to the fuel cell, which evaporated some of the fuel as a result and reduced the overall fuel mileage. I think Fabi and Andretti qualified for the 500 decently but did not run well at all.
Picked up from FB:
This was their ground effect car, actually their second (312T4 in '79 won title with Jody Scheckter and was called the ugliest Ferrari by Enzo himself, the 312T5 in '80 was a dog by the time other teams had caught up and the flat 12 didn't help) but obviously here the venturis are removed with the bodywork
I remember going with my dad to look at a base 944 the year they came out in '83. I think it was around $19k with one in stock, it was brown with brown cloth. They said "we can get you one for about $30k". That was about what a 911SC was going for at the time. Incidentally I was more interested in the red Audi…
Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?
Can't deny he's talented in Sprint Cars but he only got his big break since his dad bought a World of Outlaws team and sponsorship for him until he tried to make the leap to NASCAR, he definitely doesn't reek of class, check out YouTube for that
Hennessey's facility is the former Lone Star dragstrip west of Sealy, TX; this was at the Houston Half Mile run at Ellington Airport (formerly AFB) in May
