Yup. QA always knows. People blaming QA is part of what made me leave the industry. I worked on a game that had one extremely bad level, I voiced my complaints on every survey and report. QA leadership told me I had to give the level a better score because I was upsetting the dev team and they were concerned about my

The PS3 is a great example of Hardware vs Software Emulation. The very first PS3 models had Hardware Emulation, an actual PS2 chip in the console. The next edition (120 gig I think) had Software Emulation and wasn’t nearly as popular and then the entire backwards compatibility was cancelled on future chassis. I spent

Fallout 4 should have been named "Inventory Simulator".

So if an animator has problematic social media posts will they remove animations they built?

Elevators versus lifts is obviously (to me) the American QA trying to localize the lingo, which is dumb if it contradicts the VO and the locational verbage. When I worked on Dead to Rights:Retribution the British developers couldn’t understand why I objected to the use of “Police Cells” instead of “Jail Cells” when

I love Everybody Wants Some. It was easily my favorite movie that year. Also, watch. Utopia on Amazon, having a purpose is a major theme.

I’m 99% certain that goes against Microsoft TCR’s, but I would love to see the waiver form.

There is definitely a way to abuse the armor upgrade system so that you can 1 shot the end boss.

I worked an IT job that was basically wiring all the computers for new hospitals before they opened. Same shit "We need you to move this desk over to there". Not. My. Job.

Absolutely amazing experience. I've seen it twice already and it is easily one of the best horror movies in years.

Incredibly low. Unless it is a legal issue, forgett about it.

Honestly unionizing seems like the best thing in the short-term. But with the way game developers outsource nearly everything now (I worked in gaming pre and post outsourcing and can tell you that is exactly when game quality shit the bed), unionizing could backfire and all game development would be outside the U.S.

You can't put a game on your resume if you aren't in the credits.

You can watch the credits of most games without beating the game first. Or you can look up the credits online.

When you work in the industry the unwritten rule is you can't put a game title on your resume unless your name is in the credits.

Worked in the industry for over a decade, and every company seems to have different criteria for the credits. Some are based on length of time on the project (say 6 months or more), some are if you are still working there when the game will be released, as stated in the article, and the good ones include everyone.

Force Unleashed 2 on the Wii had a Smash Bros multiplayer with all Star Wars characters, damn fun.

Not true. Marky Mark is a great actor (Boogie Nights,  The Departed, The Other Guys, The Fighter, Basketball Diaries), but he has to have a director that pushes him or he will give the laziest performance known to acting (Every other m0vie he has been in).

Game delays>Movie delays.

I spent a few years working on PS3 Backwards Compatibility and we had to do the same thing, 100% ALL of the PS2 and PS1 games. Fuck you Culdcept. The amount of crazy bugs encountered through emulation is pretty mind blowing (GTA Vice City was unplayable as the homie that picks you up from the airport would
