Not able to fully disable stability control is a big No Go for track rats like me. I own a Supra and GR86 and both car are fun and predictable to drive to limits on the track. With stability control on, the Z probably would be a nightmare in terms of fun on the track. That is a stupid design choice.

It’s bad enough that that whole place is trashy and tasteless, but could he not afford a proper artist for the ceiling? That fresco looks like a bad cartoon!

Man, if regressives could read, they’d be pissed at that shirt!

“A little tacky” just means they didn’t go Full Miami.

its real because its The US currency and is backed by US economy and most importantly US military (which will bomb anyone threatening US companies profits)...
crypto shit is backed by nothin’ but faith.

That’s terrifying. I expect to be able to place the tires somewhere specific without thinking about the steering input. I wish automakers would stop processing inputs.

Why make a yoke at all?

The steering yoke solves what problem?

You’re underestimating how expensive the engine development would have been. Toyota hasn’t made an inline 6 in two decades, and the 1JZ/2JZ was in a ton of different cars at the time it was in production (making the development cost justified). The 1UZ development alone was over a billion dollars in 80s/90s money -

“You wouldn’t believe the folks that want to do harm and try to do things to hurt others and we’re reluctant to put inspection reports out there repair rotting-out old bridges that would show where we already know there’s a weakness in a structure, for fear that someone might do something at that location. accuse

Government accountability might cause citizens to demand that government spend tax dollars to repair and build public resources. Gotta protect the wealthy from paying taxes, so the incentives to spend tax dollars must be suppressed, right?

Yeah, they also do not accelerate and stop as quickly as cars.

Train tracks need to be more level and have more gradual curves than roads. They are generally smooth enough to where your brain doesn’t realize that you are in motion. But in cars there is more of a feeling of movement thanks to minor perturbations in the roads, steering, suspension travel etc

There is a lot of disinformation here, and the author is using purposely misleading language like “a dumping point for a track”. Give me a break.

No, “noise” from an F1 race IS NOT A HEALTH HAZARD. Formula 1 has held events in city centers and populated areas all around the world for 70 years. Zero material impact has

Miami Gardens residents have recently argued that locals will be able to hear vehicles at 97 decibels within a near-three mile radius of the track.”

Exactly. I feel like “woke” has just become a term used to describe anyone who you feel is even slightly left of you on the political spectrum.

Good question. Just like so many other conservative talking points, it’s just a nonsensical word that roughly translates to enemy.

I don’t know about other people, but when I look at a screen in a moving car I will puke in about 5 minutes.

The thing is there are a whole lot more so-called woke people in the country than there are far-right conservatives. They just aren’t as loud and whiney as the MAGA crowd, so it seems like there are less. NASCAR is simply following the path to the bigger potential market.

I have nothing to add except “ridiculous.”
