It’s referred to as the “safety cell” for a reason. Think of that piece as the strongest component of the car that everything else is bolted onto.

Thank God for the halo. All criticism of the halo just flew out of the window. Litery saved his life, on top of all the safety tech. I haven’t seen a crash like that in years. I wonder if the chassis is designed to separate like that in case of an accident. The fact that he only has minor burns after sitting in that…
The halo appears intact as well. Hard to say he walks out of that crash if the halo’s not there.
The fact that Romain is still alive and even managed to get out by himself proves that modern F1 chassis’ safety measures are amazing.
I’d guess the Parler edition would come with extra nuts.
Based on some of the Trump train trucks I've seen, I think the QAnon package is still available as an aftermarket add-on.
Yeap, sounds like a 12 year old with a dictionary, not a 5 year old with a pictionary.
“Pizza-Tailgate comes standard!”
Good, but too coherent.
Oof. Be careful.
I find everyone’s surprise.. well... surprising. I kind of really can’t believe people who grew up in America are shocked by how Americans act....
With all due respect to the light tone of your post: in-law hassles are seriously more troublesome then, say, your health?
Good thing you like it because literally every interior looks exactly like this now.
100% agree! This sounds great.
You know it’s weird.I cant even remember why the original version was made that way.I know it’s because they held themselves to a 2l displacement and wanted 200hp ,but why those numbers?
No need to answer, just rhetorical. All i care is they’re being sensible now!
It is in the very nature of unions in the US.
So, out of interest, I looked up the same wheel (OZ) and Tire (Michelin)at Tire-rack for a Tesla 3 AWD.
I don’t have a good answer for this. Yes, if the circumference is the same then the leverage on the driveline is the same, torque requirements don’t change etc.
Will he qualify for the 30 months ? or is his credit score too low ? he may have to go for 60 months
Unfortunately this is not necessarily correct. Correlation does not always mean causation. My experience with vehicle coastdowns related to fuel economy/emissions could site multiple examples where the wheel/tire combo with the smaller wheel has a higher roadload (lower efficiency).
It’s not that. Wheels actually weight less than tires in many cases. Also, the weight on the edge is the key since the moment of inertia.
