Go home BMW design department, you’re drunk.
It took a while for the majority of carmakers to seriously drop coin and launch EVs at more than a niche scale, but now that they are/will be soon, we’re at that point for real.
Why is there any complaining at all about them offering a NA, 800+ HP V12 in anything? A lot of people see the rise of EVs and want to do the last great gasps of natural aspiration. See also: Porsche Cayman GT4 RS.
I’ve no doubt that I will have a nice (and reasonably fun) EV for a daily driver in the next 8-10 years. I also know that I will keep my 3.8L Flat 6 paired with a stick in my garage as long as I can buy fuel for it. There’s not much that tops the sheer joy of the combination of: great performance, great sensory load…
Man just state that you work for BMW already.
But it’s smaller inside, less practical, actually heavier, and makes nowhere near as good of a noise. The 10 speed GT is pretty damn quick in all driving and I’d disagree that the 2 is that much nicer to warrant the price premium on the inside compared with a loaded GT.
The Imola track layout is different now and quite a bit faster. The removed the final chicane and now they just rocket onto the main straight. This is worth 2-3s alone. Today’s cars are about 1-3s faster than the 2004 monsters, depending on the track. If I had to pick one to drive just once, though, it’d easily be the…
3. 8. 7. 0.
It’s one thing to make some prototype vehicles, and another to launch a product at mass production scale and quality with a parts, service network.
100% in favor of it.
You should look into how many tech “disrupters” don’t exist not long after they get loaded on the hype train.
Funny that the things you mentioned are not direct healthcare. Reading comprehension is a rare skill.
Yep and instead of delivering on those rose-tinted memories, they’re giving people just “decent” in the case of the Integra. It’s a fancied-up Civic Si. Bad car? Absolutely not. Faster than the original? Duh, but that’s not really what matters. The only reason the Integra name matters is for the feeling the Type R…
Paid for by everyone so that it’s cheaper for everyone and then companies don’t have to carry the burden of health insurance. Profit in direct healthcare is immoral.
It was, but in this one Ham ensured they didn’t hit each other by going even wider, and in Silverstone Max did not. Also Hamilton was penalized.
He was able to remain in that position by pushing Hamilton wider and thus forcing him to lose momentum in the dirt. If he had even take a normal understeering line, Ham would have gotten him before or at the next corner since Max’s momentum would have been hit hard.
You’re new to this racing and car stuff, aren’t ya?
Which is definitely bullshit. Commentators from Sky/ESPN could see it, therefore F1/FIA can see it.
Saying they didn’t have the live feed of Verstappen’s onboard is horseshit. Anthony Davidson was on the live feed saying that he was constantly watching Hamilton’s onboard. If the TV presenter can see it, the FIA stewards and FIA personnel can see it.
