Leasing makes sense for three types of people: 1) those who need to change cars every two to three years, 2) those who want cars that depreciate like crazy (BMW, Audi, Merc, etc), and 3) those looking at mid-level or nicer full size pick-up trucks for daily drivers, because their leases are cheap and the vehicles hold

Die in a fire

Multiple companies have started volume production of their vaccines amidst the Phase 3 trials that are on-going. We should expect to know in a couple months who wins and who wasted millions (of taxpayer and their own) dollars.

a global team of researchers led by Surrey’s Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE) investigated air pollution exposure levels for commuters in 10 different global cities – Dhaka (Bangladesh), Chennai (India), Guangzhou (China), Medellín (Colombia), São Paulo (Brazil), Cairo (Egypt), Sulaymaniyah (Iraq),

Come on now. A study of the most polluted cities is drawing this conclusion? No one needed to do a study to know that. How about you do the same thing in the US where it’s still bad, but nowhere near as bad...

The headline isn’t wrong. They are far behind. You just assumed it was about the vehicle content/tech. In reality it’s that they’re far behind on getting it to market. Nothing wrong with the headline.

Never ever want to hear about people making a couple hundred bucks extra on welfare when people in these types of positions can make hundreds of thousands or millions fraudulently with little scrutiny.

How so? They had plenty of good things to say about the features, performance and overall content. The very legitimate criticism is the timing.

Sorry I wasn’t faster. Better late than never.

And in before

It could easily be argued/proven that Palin tanked McCain’s chances in ‘08, despite Obama’s general popularity.

Plenty of examples of EV racecars sounding like spaceships rather than silent or f*cking weird (Mockery 1400). Make EVs Sound Cool Today (MESCT)! Lol...

Yep to both. Oh Ford...

Now playing

Here’s what a real race electric motor sounds like (obv on top of an engine for the first one):

If only that was the actual noise.

I like an honest noise of different types. This is not that. Electric race motors CAN sound good. This sounds awful, mostly because Ford and fake noises.

Even that sounds significantly better. At least it’s an RPM-based noise, rather than just random fake screams.

Too bad the scream is fake.
