Not only should you expect it, they absolutely should be. That they’re not is either crap engineering for GM, quality control issues, or cost cutting gone mad (see #1 again).

The tires should 100% be the limiting factor on a stock driveline & tire combo. Those halfshafts shouldn’t even bust with 700 HP and stock tires, the tires should just spin and not hook.
I agree with you, but my point was that if anything would give the necessary push, this is it.
No, it’s pretty terrible. Picture was posted by another. Trucks have to haul a lot of mass, because you know, we buy things and freight needs to move efficiently. Stopping a loaded tractor trailer (80,000 lbs vs your 3-5,000 lb car) from 60 mph takes 250+ feet if it’s a newer vehicle. Get a damn clue and drive like…
Ever driven a Class 8 tractor with a load? Do you know how bad the visibility is compared to most cars? Do you know how long it takes to stop from 60 mph with a load? No?
Yep. The silver lining of this whole crisis is that it exposes how F’d up our healthcare system and overall societal philosophy is. If anything is going to change the way we think/work, this will. If we don’t after this, we’re F’d.
Trump never, ever, EVER admits fault or not knowing something he’s expected to know, even in a time in which being honest would actually benefit him. It’s amazing.
Any drive configuration + snow tires > AWD and rock hard A/S tires .
Fair, but the people who are still Bernie or bust after 3 years of Trump deserve to be shamed and blamed. Vote for who inspires you in the primary, but if you write-in/don’t vote blue in the general, 4 more years of orange IS partially your fault.
You’re right. This will also not really offer anything that truly differentiates it from the Wrangler in a meaningful way. It’ll also be pretty heavy.
Nailed it.
You’ve outlined why a lot of smart, capable and GOOD leaders (men and women both) never seek the office. They have zero interest in being put through that bullshit.
NASCAR’s fans sure think they are like a production car, given the ignorant uproar around this change.
It’s been 40+ years since they’ve been anything close to a “stock car”. This is irrelevant. Most performance cars today are 18-20" wheels.
That title would go to F1 pit crews.
The comments on NBC Sports FB post about this are unbelievably hilarious. They’re very NASCAR.
And this is why, IMO, F50 > F40.
There’s a reason I call it NASCRASH
Yes. 600s are still commonly used for Formula SAE cars weighing in at 400-450 lbs, and that is by far the fastest accelerating four-wheeled vehicle I’ve ever driven.
