Good!

He votes, people. He votes. Holy shit.

This needs more stars.

You’ve eaten your Faux News cheerios every day like a good boy!

That used to be the case up until very recently. The OEMs are now adopting 50 state emissions hardware because scale.

That is laughable, considering it’s California. Entry-level engineers at the Big 2.5 make that much or more.

3rd and 5th.

Not sure if serious...

Excellent generalization. Not everyone who owns one is a tool or drives a fun performance car like one. It is disheartening to see how often this type of thing happens though. I would love to see licensing for cars that required additional validation of skills for a given kinetic energy capability (taking both

I actually wish they’d raise fuel taxes and scrap CAFE (I DO support the goal of CAFE to reduce consumption and dependency on oil). It would accomplish similar goals while preserving choice. The market would determine what they want. The competition would force the OEMs to develop vehicles that achieve excellent real

We NEED this.

It sure does.

5th gear: The reason this happens is mainly due to powertrain calibration and transmission calibration, not the fundamental architecture. Driver demand tables that command highly non-linear torque outputs to driver inputs, poor wastegate control on the highway, and poor optimization of light throttle to transmission

Yeah the expense to start a new prototype team is enormous. With the GT they can spread the costs out over IMSA and WEC.

You sound upset. Are you upset?

Demand side economics are much more powerful than supply side. Make consumers WANT fuel efficient vehicles more and demand them from the OEMs vs. the OEMS engineering to the test and incrementally keeping pace with each other to the minimum (I work in this industry...this is what happens).

Not exactly. The new GT350 gets a gas guzzler tax and gets a lot higher than 10 combined (I think 17 or 18).

And the current congress and administration has no interest in developing viable alternatives. Fuck them.

We already have that: gas guzzler tax. It should be expanded though.
