@blehbleh13: I would agree with you somewhat, but I wouldn't say that Sony has no vision, with their game consoles they brought about the adoption of DVD and Blu-rays. I would agree with you that Nintendo makes some truly great games, but Sony isn't that far behind, with many many great first party developers that

Despite their poor performance this year at E3, I don't think they're dead, or have lost the console race. They certainly need to upgrade their handheld offerings, and we'll have to see what happens with their "Wii HD" but they haven't "lost".

@Booyotch: 1080p 60 frames per second I've heard.

Wow, number #13 is spectacular, I can't tell if it's an image from the game, or an actual picture.

@A.Jaswal: Here's a consumer product that has less than a 1% failure rate, the Wii! It's amazing, and hey, most companies would spend they extra few million to make a product that doesn't fail 50% percent of the time before it comes to market.

Lol I thought this would be "we fixed the xbox, it now has a less than 2% failure rate HAHA!, But no, it's just we've changed the popular image of failure, with a less popular one.

@PS1: Well, I'm certainly hoping they release a new handheld or at least plans for it at TGS, they'll need to soon. 3D is something they'll need as well :s

It's logical for sure, they should have done that with the PSP, I mean at least the DS cards are tiny compared to UMDs.

@PS1: maybe, but I haven't heard anything about the PSP version, you would think they would have made it a little more prominent in their press conference.

I guess this was the PSP resident evil they announced last year? I haven't heard about that at all since last year's e3, this looks like it's fate.

@Boibi: well you see then they can say they have "the only line of fully 3D entertainment consoles. 3D movies is something they're already looking into, and have really with the ps3, if they add it into the psp2 it'll just be a boon for them. It will be more powerful for sure, but they need to make the screen touch so

wait a second... there's silent hill psone, 2, 3, 4 (the room) origins, homecoming, and shattered memories.

@Blastarr: i am a lover of my psp, but in these last few hours I'm starting to believe you, they'll probably come up with something new though, business wise they can't just let Nintendo take 100% of the handheld market. They need to get 3D going on it though, bon chance Sony, I'm waiting.

I think out of all three press conferences Nintendo certainly won, Sony second, and MS third.

It seems like a lot of people are interested in this title, having never known anything about the series I'm not that excited. Maybe I'll grab a PSone title and check it out...

@Nightskyre: Yes that's true, they lost the Super CD playback and Linux.

@Darrisbob1: Is that temporary? Or is this new slim supposed to live side by side with the older models?

@AcidTWister: I'm pretty sure the PS3 was at 80 and 160, with the 80gig at 399 before the slim came out.

I'm surprised they didn't make it cheaper, when Sony made the slim they dropped 100$ off the price, that's what drove sales, not only the new SKU.
