I've even worn nitrile gloves under my welding gloves. The only reason I ever have dirty hands is from having ripped gloves. And that happens most often when I forget to double up!

Remember to keep loose items away from the timing belt if it's exposed. Zip ties work :P

I'm assuming you've driven one? Pretty damn quick if you ask me. Sounds great, exhaust burbles on overrun etc. Tires aren't great. Seems AMG enough.

Back to our regular programming, I see. Much better :) And, as someone else commented, the only area I can see it making sense is to finance some collector cars, ideally with the idea of turning a small, 4-5% profit or something.

Tom, pretty lazy piece. You're basing your opinion on the press release? I'm sure you have, but can you confirm that you've driven a 3-pedal S4 and an S3?

Nice, I’ll be at the Automotive Hall of fame Cars and Coffee tomorrow morning.

Ok, didn't see what was going on until now. I think some two-part epoxy down the plastic tube might have worked. Or RTV. I did 1200 miles in my Alfa this weekend to go to Carlisle and brought plenty of both. You can even use the high temp stuff for exhaust leaks. I'm curious what your travel kit consisted of too. I

You have a photo of the bad/melted lead? I'm thinking cut some of the rubber area and wrap the wire around the plug then tape it there to stay?

Reminds me of the man who “accidentally” slipped into the watermelon that happened to have a hole drilled into it.

I don’t understand why you’d even bother to write something like this without backing it up with data. This is a serious shame. Please don’t extrapolate reliability based on biased anecdotes and then disseminate the information on such a public platform. Or at least don't do so with much respect for you work.

Comment before even reading: RTV was a good choice, smart of you to bring that case of water, didn’t realize Beetle tires were so easy to find, yeah the Midwest does suck. We'll see how close I was.

Nice writeup

Nice. Just saw one with M plates broken down on I-94.

But I liked my Fiesta ST :'(

So Volvo is disingenuous for taking something out of context? How would you rate this for an apples to oranges comparison?

So, curious how you think it compares with the 360? Very open-ended, but do you think the mechanical risk of a 360 is worth it over the depreciation of the 4C (let's assume it's under warranty for now)? I have 4 Alfas, one of which is driveable, so I don't drive that one.

“if you were mad your mother earlier that week”. Maybe work on your profession before thinking too much on how you’d improve automotive engineering? And yes, despite your lack of data showing so, I'd agree that rotary engines are best avoided.

I have a strong suspicion that you've never owned an Italian car...

Jason, this does add to the discussion of the future of car door mechanisms that you started yesterday - how about a bottom entrance that requires lifting the vehicle to access? Like the opposite of a tank.
