They all got imported to the UK before they hit 15, and owned by the kind of people who black out their headlights. I don’t think there’s many around now.

I’d disagree - to me, the GTV/Spider, Brera/Spider, 159 and 166 are the only ones from that era where the FWD is a let down. Everything else was either a brilliant hot-hatch or a larger car with that hot-hatch feel to it, which is a tough trick to pull off.

*ahem*

Is it cheating to say Citroen Saxo/Peugeot 106? the footrest is the entire wheel arch.

Noble M12, I think. That or an Esprit, but definitely not an MR2.

I find goggles the way to go - I’ve got a big pair that go all the way around my glasses.

Even a small fleck of rust getting in the eyes is a pretty serious problem.

F6A or K6A? Loads of MonsterSport bits or something more custom? Details! Detaaaails! :D

I still think if you’d moved the seat further forwards so the seat could tilt back further it might have worked. Maybe.

Broadly speaking, you should be fine with a Cappuccino.
If you’re very tall, you might run into the problem that the seat can’t tilt backwards very far if it’s pushed all the way back, but otherwise you’re more likely to find it too narrow if you’re broad shouldered and like sticking your elbows out.

Kind of, it was a joint Rover/Honda project that came up with the 800 and the first generation Honda Legend. They’re pretty similar, and the V6 in those earlier ones was a Honda engine.

Sure, but theres a difference in the execution - I was thinking more the dusty ruined attic training sequence, the edgy edgy edgy characters, the clothing looks more like the reboot’s... and the fact it just didn’t look like its going to be good.

No, it looks like a rip off of Thiefs shitty reboot.

This is the most enlightening thing Ive ever read that began with “Your mum.

No, I was thinking in terms of their Courier/Transit rivals over the last 30 years.

GM doesnt have anything of their own in that area - since the 80s theyve been building Suzuki/Isuzu/Fiat/Renault/Nissan designs.

I checked the going rate for a few fairly low cost of living areas and entry-level jobs in that area were typically $40k. A third off counts as more than just a little, to me.

There’s a risk, definitely, and if its an at-will state probably quite a high one, but if someone doesn’t react well to being asked for a

I dont really agree with your advice there - it’s advice for Im on a couple of grand below the going rate, how do I get that without rubbing anyone up the wrong way”, not a “Im getting ripped off here, how do I show them I’m worth taking seriously” situation like this is.

From my experience;
Ask them on the phone for a meeting when they’re next both in the office, and come into it with detailed “here’s what the going rate in this area is”, “here’s why I’m proven now, not some unproven newbie”.

If you go in and they’re only willing to talk long term (ie. okay, we’ll review this in 6
